According to Mundo Deportivo, Xavi Hernández will be announced as the new Barcelona manager on Friday.
After an intense day of meetings between Barcelona, Al Sadd, and Xavi’s representatives on Thursday, his departure from Al Sadd is set to be officially completed on Friday morning.
The Spanish coach will have another meeting with Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, the head of Al Sadd. After that meeting, Xavi will know if the Qatari club agrees to sign an agreement with Barça, something that seems likely to happen after yesterday’s meeting and the option of a friendly match in the future in Doha.
