Gareth Bale has been on the sidelines since August 28 when he injured his knee in the La Liga match against Real Betis.
The Welshman was not expected to return before the latest round of FIFA fixtures but trained with the Real Madrid squad on Thursday and could be in Carlo Ancelotti’s matchday squad for the visit of Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.
AS report that Bale will be assessed again during the team’s final training session on Friday.
