An exchange between Arsenal star Declan Rice and Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal has gone viral in the Spanish media on Sunday evening.
This comes after the former sent a message of appreciation the way of the 19-year-old.
Rice and Lamine’s respective nations locked horns on the international front late on Saturday. In Spain’s first outing after being crowned world champions, La Roja made the trip to London for a Nations League meeting with England.
When all was said and done, it was the visitors who emerged triumphant, courtesy of a comeback 3-2 result.
Young winger Lamine played a starring role in as much, opening the scoring and terrorising England’s backline at every opportunity amid another stellar individual display.
Post-match, the aforementioned Declan Rice was therefore keen to inform the Barcelona prodigy of his appreciation for his remarkable talents.
As showcased in the footage below, after coming together for a quick embrace in the Wembley tunnel, Arsenal’s midfield standout whispered to Lamine:
