Ex-Real Madrid starlet Jacobo Ramón turned down the chance to move back to Spain’s capital during this summer’s transfer window.
Defender Jacobo for his part departed Real Madrid on a permanent basis in the summer of 2025. After making the call to seek out more consistent senior playing time in Italy, the 21-year-old has since gone on to emerge as a leading figure at Cesc Fàbregas’ Como.
After racking up 30 Serie A starts last season, Jacobo has since followed up with a further five starts from five over the early weeks of the new term.
And his impressive exploits along the way, it would appear, have not gone at all unnoticed back at the Santiago Bernabéu…
As per a report from Diario AS:
‘This summer, Real Madrid offered to buy him back to be the team’s fourth-choice centre-back, but Jacobo rejected the proposal.’
It is added that while the stopper ‘feels like a Madridista, his priority is to play and feel important wherever he is’.
