The latest endeavours on the part of up-and-coming Barcelona talent Mikayil Faye have turned heads across the club’s fanbase late on Sunday.
This comes after the 19-year-old, in the midst of a whirlwind couple of weeks, netted a stunning winner for Barcelona Atlètic.
Rafa Márquez’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Navarra for a meeting with Osasuna B.
The aforementioned Faye, fresh off taking his place on the bench for Xavi’s first-team against Las Palmas on Saturday, was afforded his latest start, at the heart of defence.
And, after finding the net in remarkable fashion on his senior debut for Senegal last weekend, the stopper, once more, grabbed the headlines for his exploits in front of goal.
This came upon Faye, with the sides locked at two goals apiece, stepping up to take responsibility of a free-kick on the edge of the Osasuna penalty area, two minutes from time.
