Ongoings in the aftermath of Real Madrid’s opening goal against Athletic Club on Sunday evening have piqued attentions across the club’s fanbase.
This comes after Real’s stars were spotted seeking out a member of Carlo Ancelotti’s coaching staff.
Frontman Rodrygo, for his part, opened the scoring at the Santiago Bernabéu, courtesy of a wonderful run and finish inside the opening ten minutes.
And the Brazilian, in turn, was quickly surrounded by his teammates, amid joyful celebrations across the hosts’ XI in Madrid.
As alluded to above, though, Real’s players were not the only ones to have taken their place front and centre in the goal celebrations on Sunday.
So too, was Antonio Pintus.
For those not familiar with his name, Pintus is the lead fitness coach at Valdebebas, with his work with Carlo Ancelotti’s squad having long drawn widespread praise from sources within the club.
A popular figure amongst the Blancos’ players, too, the Italian was therefore sought out and embraced by goalscorer Rodrygo and co. on the Bernabéu touchline, a well-earned gesture of gratitude for Pintus’ ongoing work.
