Valencia set to appoint Javi Gracia as new head coach

Valencia are set to appoint former Watford boss Javi Gracia as their new head coach, according to Cadena COPE.

Albert Celadas was sacked from his role at the club in June, with Voro Gonzalez taking over on a temporary basis until the end of the season. It has been reported in Valencia that Gracia has an agreement in place to take over at Mestalla for the 2020/21 campaign.

Valencia president Anil Murthy held negotiations with the 50-year-old on Friday and is waiting on approval of the decision from club owner Peter Lim.
