Speaking to Franceinfo, Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard admitted the 2019-20 season has been a difficult campaign after arriving in the Spanish capital as the club’s big summer signing.
“This year, we won the La Liga title, but on a personal level I’ve definitely had the worst season of my career.”
The former Chelsea player underwent ankle surgery in March and has since returned to action for Los Blancos. He has made 16 league appearances this season, scoring one goal.
