One of the unsung stars of Barcelonaâs campaign clinched his latest Man of the Match award in the clubâs latest outing.
The player in question? Joan GarcĂa.
Barcelona were of course back in action on Saturday evening, making the trip to Osasuna for a La Liga clash.
When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of a hard-fought 2-1 result, to take another huge step towards the La Liga title.
Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres took the headlines post-match, after netting Barcaâs two key goals at El Sadar.
It was the man at the other end of the pitch, though, who again proved himself decisive for Hansi Flickâs troops.
Joan GarcĂa has of course taken to life in Barcelona colours like a duck to water, since taking his talents to Catalunyaâs capital from Espanyol last summer.
Whilst the likes of Lamine Yamal and Pedri so often take the plaudits, the shot-stopper has been nothing short of essential in his new clubâs charge towards a 2nd successive league title.
And Joan was back at it once again on Saturday, producing a number of top-class saves to hold Osasuna to a solitary goal.
Few, in turn, could have argued with the decision to afford the âMVPâ for the evening to the talented Spaniard:
