La Liga giants Real Madrid remain hopeful of parting with a trio of current first-team stars before the summer transfer window slams shut. This comes amid the understanding that José Mourinho views his squad as being overly bloated as things stand.
The brass at the Santiago Bernabéu have of course been hard at work throughout the summer to date, to rejuvenate a group of players fresh off back-to-back trophyless seasons.
These efforts have culminated in the arrivals of six players, in the form of Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konaté, Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Yan Diomandé and Carlos Espí.
Whilst Mourinho and his staff are understood to be happy with these reinforcements, though, the Portuguese is of the opinion that he now has too many players at his disposal.
For this reason, both club and manager are hopeful of finding new homes for a trio of stars over the weeks ahead. As per a report from Diario AS:
‘There are three names on the outside: Raúl Asencio, Eduardo Camavinga, and Ferland Mendy.’
