Real Madrid to close door in front of Kylian Mbappé

Real Madrid are not planning to sign Kylian Mbappé any time soon, report Marca.

The European champions were keen to bring the Frenchman to the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu last May, but the Frenchman chose to extend his contract with PSG, becoming the best-paid footballer in the world.

Rumours have emerged once again linking Mbappé to the Spanish capital following the 23-year-old great performance at the 2022 World Cup, but Real Madrid were quick to distance themselves from the French striker.

Los Blancos’ management believe that the signing of Mbappé would disturb the dressing room’s dynamic and other players of a similar age in his position – including Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo – may start feeling undermined.

Following the Parisian’s decision to renew his contract with PSG, Real Madrid fans are not keen on signing Mbappé either.

As the relationship currently stands between the club and the player, Mbappé may not be able to fulfill his career ambition of playing for Real Madrid.
