Real Madrid to announce several contract extensions

On Wednesday, Real Madrid announced the contract extension of Toni Kroos, with his new deal going until the summer of 2024. In his nine seasons in the Spanish capital, the German creator has won 20 titles.

Along with Kroos, several other Los Blancos players will pen new deals with the club in the next coming days. Marca understand that Luka Modrić and Dani Ceballos will follow Nacho Fernández in confirming their extensions shortly.

So far this summer, club president Florentino Pérez has stood up to the task. Although Madrid have lost their captain and prolific goalscorer Karim Benzema to Al Ittihad earlier this month, they will be pleased with their transfer business thus far.

England midfielder Jude Bellingham has joined for €103m, and Spain international Joselu has returned to the Bernabéu after a spell with Espanyol. Real Madrid have also welcomed Brahim Díaz back from AC Milan as well as Fran García from Rayo Vallecano.
