According to a report by El Chiringuito, Kylian Mbappé’s team met with a close representative of the Emir of Qatar on Wednesday to discuss his future in the French capital.
The Qatari owner has given the PSG forward two options: either he decides to extend his contract at PSG before the resumption of pre-season training, or he will be sold.
This news will be welcomed by Real Madrid as they have been monitoring the status of the forward for a long time. The Emir, Tamim Al-Thani, maintains a close business relationship with the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez.
Madrid have already been busy this summer, signing Joselu as an attacking option as well as the marquee signing of English teenager Jude Bellingham for central midfield.
Les Parisiens are willing to sell the France international for a fee in the region of €200m, however, El Chiringuito have stated that Pérez is only prepared to bid €120m.
