Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. has on Tuesday secured his latest piece of individual silverware.
As much comes in the form of the award for the La Liga Goal of the Month for February.
The Brazilian, for his part, was responsible for a moment of absolute magic a little over two weeks ago, in Real’s top-of-the-table showdown with Girona.
Amid a Man of the Match display, which also saw him bag a pair of assists, Vinícius opened the scoring at the Santiago Bernabéu, in nothing short of stunning fashion.
Picking the ball up in his customary berth on the left flank, the 23-year-old cut inside, before driving towards the edge of the Girona penalty area.
And from here, Vinícius, out of the blue, unleashed an unstoppable drive into the far top corner of the visitors’ net.
As much set the stage for an eventual 4-0 rout, proving not only the moment of the evening, but, in the eyes of the public, that of the entirety of February.
