Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé beat out major competition to secure the Man of the Match prize for his performance in the club’s latest outing.
Los Blancos were of course back in action a short time ago, welcoming Sevilla to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash.
Frontman Mbappé featured from the off in the fixture, from his customary centre-forward berth. And en route to an eventual 4-1 triumph, the Frenchman was responsible for two of the hosts’ goals.
His first came in nothing short of spectacular fashion, as Mbappé took the ball into his path on the spin, before dancing beyond Odysseas Vlachodimos and slotting home.
The 27-year-old then rounded out a superb brace with a ‘Panenka’ from the penalty spot during the 2nd-half.
Despite fine performances on the part of the likes of Yan Diomandé and Arda Güler, Mbappé, in turn, was named the official Man of the Match following the full-time whistle on Sunday.
