Real Madrid see massive demand for tickets ahead of UCL Semi-final against Bayern Munich

Real Madrid face a crunch tie against Bayern Munich tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabéu, with a place in the Champions League final at stake.

If LaLigaTV presenter Phil Kitromilides’ post on X on Tuesday is any indication, the Bernabéu is set to be filled to the rafters, with over 171,000 people ahead of him in the queue looking to secure tickets.

Real Madrid head into the tie drawing 2-2 on aggregate, and are in a vein of good form, having beaten Cádiz 3-0 on Saturday at home.

Bayern Munich, meanwhile, struggled at the weekend, losing 3-1 away to Stuttgart in another disappointing Bundesliga result for the German side.

If the demand for tickets for this massive tie translates to ticket sales, we could well be looking at the biggest capacity at the 85,000-seater Bernabéu since its €1.8 billion renovation was completed this year.

Throughout the history of this heavyweight European fixture, Real Madrid have 12 wins to Bayern’s 11, with 4 draws between the sides.
