One surprise inclusion & one exclusion on Barcelona’s 4-man list of unsellable players

An insight into the short list of players to have been deemed as non-transferrable by La Liga giants Barcelona this summer has today been forthcoming.

The info comes courtesy of RAC1, and points towards just four members of Xavi’s squad as being untouchable.

Three will come as little surprise, in the form of youngsters Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí, and Gavi.

The fourth, though, has turned heads…

This comes with the Barcelona brass having come to the decision that no offers will be entertained for goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, either.

Ter Stegen has continued to divide opinion across the Blaugrana fanbase this season, with his age (32) and considerable wage packet having given rise to previous suggestions that the German could yet be on the move this summer.

As much, according to RAC1, however, will not prove the case.

Turning attentions towards those for whom Barca are ready to listen to bids, the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Jules Koundé and Frenkie de Jong are no longer considered as safe.

Perhaps most surprising of all, though, is the absence of Pedri from the generally reliable RAC1’s off limits list.

Could the patience of the board at the Camp Nou with their oft-sidelined midfield starlet have finally worn out?
