Just one absentee noted in Real Madrid training before Bayern Munich

La Liga giants Real Madrid will head into their upcoming showdown with Bayern Munich boasting a near full-strength squad of players.

As much was confirmed by way of ongoings at the club’s training base on Tuesday afternoon.

Real, of course, are primed to kick the club’s continental campaign back into gear on Wednesday night, in the 2nd leg of their Champions League semi-final tie with the aforementioned Bayern.

The tie currently sits on a knife-edge, owing to a 2-2 stalemate at the Allianz Arena last week.

Safe to say, then, that Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff will be eager to have as many of the club’s star performers as possible fit and available to feature in 24 hours’ time.

And, if the latest word stemming from the club’s Valdebebas base is anything to go by, all but one should indeed be at the disposal of Ancelotti and co.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of The Athletic’s Mario Cortegana that long-term injury absentee David Alaba was the only Real Madrid first-team player not in training on Tuesday.
