Antonio Rüdiger’s contract at Chelsea expires in June 2022 and according to AS, Real Madrid have enquired for the centre-back.
The 28-year-old’s contract renewal talks with Chelsea are not going as well as originally expected. Real Madrid are one of the teams that have asked about his situation and according to Sport1, Bayern Munich have also been in talks with his agent.
Chelsea have made him an offer of €8.5 million per season to renew and now the question is to see who can better that. Bayern don’t want to go much higher than the Premier League side’s offer and bettering that figure may be the key to landing one of the most highly-rated defenders in Europe at the moment.
