During an event involving the Congress of the Spanish Association of the Sports Press, Real Betis president Ángel Haro gave an interview which appeared on Marca.
He expressed his satisfaction with the work of Manuel Pellegrini:
“We are experiencing a moment of happiness and excitement, all united and heading in the same direction. We have one of the best coaches in the world, we knew he was the right one when we hired him. We talked a lot about the squad and he understood that we could get more out of it than it was giving. They believe that they can win any game, his work is impressive. We also have good players and good people who identify with the club.”
Haro also revealed what Los Verdiblancos want to achieve this season:
“We have to be objective. We are humble despite the great moments we are going through. One year we will be in the Europa League, and I wish we were in the Champions League, but it is difficult with our budget. There is a big difference in budget when compared with other teams. We have to grow little by little, in sporting and social terms, because this is not just a football club.”
