PSG will be without a key member of Luis Enrique’s squad for Barcelona first leg

La Liga giants Barcelona will not have to worry about the contributions of a key member of the defensive setup at Paris Saint-Germain, in the first leg of the upcoming European tie between the clubs.

Barca, and PSG, of course learned their immediate fate on the continent earlier this morning.

After battling beyond Napoli and Real Sociedad respectively in the competition’s Last-16, the two clubs will go toe-to-toe, for a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

On the Barcelona side of things, a whole host of the club’s star performers will be walking the disciplinary tightrope with a view to the tie’s 2nd leg.

For Luis Enrique’s PSG, though, one key player has already been ruled out of the opener at the Parc des Princes.

The individual in question? Achraf Hakimi.

Right-back Hakimi was shown a yellow card last time out, en route to his side’s 2-1 victory at Anoeta.

And, in the process, he picked up a one-game suspension, set to be served when PSG play host to Barcelona on the 9th of April.
