Barcelona star Ferran Torres has made the definitive call to bring a close to his time on the books of the Blaugrana this summer.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who report that the 26-year-old has informed Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain of his total desire to link up with the club over the weeks ahead.
Frontman Ferran has of course been heavily linked with a move to Paris for several weeks now, amid the understanding that Luis Enrique is a long-time admirer of the talents boasted by his fellow countryman.
The former Manchester City man recently hinted during a public appearance that he was taking his future in Catalunya’s capital into serious consideration, ahead of the expiration of his Barcelona contract terms in 12 months’ time.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word doing the rounds on Thursday is anything to go by, then Ferran’s mind now appears to be made up.
As per a report from Sport:
‘According to sources close to the operation, Ferran Torres has given the green light for PSG to activate all its resources, resume the numerous lines of communication that have been open with Barça in recent months, and propose a transfer between the clubs.’
