In an interview with Movistar after Barcelona’s 3-2 win away to Levante on Sunday night, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was asked about his relationship with team-mate Ousmane Dembélé.
“Ousmane knows me well so I’ve to be ready when he gets the ball on the right. He has to stay here.“
Barcelona director Mateu Alemany was in Morocco last week to hold talks over a new deal with the winger’s agent Moussa Sissoko.
Dembélé has set up three of Aubameyang’s last five goals. There were five goals in a pulsating second half between Levante and Barcelona. Bottom of the table Levante were awarded three second-half penalties and converted two through José Luis Morales and Gonzalo Melero.
Barcelona won the game with a Luuk de Jong header in the 92nd minute and move back into second place in the table with the victory.
