Roman Abramovich has reportedly made an offer to buy Valencia CF, according to ElDesmarque Valencia.
A recent statement from former Valencia vice-president Miguel Zorío points to the fact that Abramovich may be in talks to purchase the La Liga club.
Zorío, who has himself been keen to buy Peter Lim’s share at Valencia, claims that he has to compete with Abramovich’s offer.
“Peter Lim has tried to sell the club in London for €250 million but has not succeeded. Lately, he has leaked to international media that he has two purchase offers, mine and that of the Russian oligarch of Chelsea.”
Abramovich has been suspended and sanctioned by the British government following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and has revealed the intention to sell Chelsea.
Zorío claims that he will hold a press conference with Peter Lim to present a new offer that can compete with Abramovich’s bid.
