New signing Ibrahim Diarra spotted in attendance at Barcelona’s meeting with Osasuna

The latest addition to the academy setup at Barcelona was this evening spotted in attendance at the club’s meeting with Osasuna.

The player in question? Ibrahim Diarra.

The name of youngster Diarra has of course taken its place front and centre in the Spanish media headlines over the course of the last 24 hours.

This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that the gifted wide-man had agreed to take his talents to Barcelona.

As per a statement by way of the Africa Foot Academy, on Tuesday:

“Ibrahim Diarra, known as Kaká, is leaving to train in Barcelona as part of our collaboration with Fútbol Club Barcelona.”

Diarra, for his part, is widely considered to be one of African football’s most exciting breakthrough talents, fresh off clinching Player of the Tournament honours at the U17 World Cup.

And, as alluded to above, late on Wednesday, the Barca faithful have been afforded a first glimpse of their side’s newest signing.

This comes after the attacker – set to link up with Rafa Márquez’s Barcelona Atlètic side before penning terms with the Blaugrana after turning 18 later this year – was spotted in attendance at the club’s La Liga meeting with Osasuna:
