Manchester United are in talks for Espanyol striker Raúl de Tomás, according to journalist Pedro Morata of Cope.
The Spain international, 27, is one of United’s potential attacking options and the fee for De Tomás would be in the region of €25-30m.
Atlético Madrid have previously made contact for Espanyol’s main man, who has a deal with the Catalan outfit until June 2026.
In the 2021-22 campaign, he scored 17 league goals in 34 appearances for the club.
According to The Athletic, United have also held talks for Atlético Madrid striker Álvaro Morata.
Morata is reportedly available for €35million. The Spanish striker spent the last two seasons on loan at Juventus, scoring 32 goals in 92 games.
Atlético currently have five strikers in their squad and want to keep just four at the club for the new season. Morata has a contract with the Wanda Metropolitano outfit until 2024.
According to Spanish outlet El Confidencial, he is happy at Atlético and wants to play an important role at the club this season.
