Luis Suárez set for move to MLS after 2022 World Cup

Luis Suárez will join LA Galaxy after the 2022 World Cup with Uruguay, according to Mundo Deportivo via RAC1.

Once his current spell at Uruguayan side Nacional comes to an end and he plays the World Cup in Qatar with Uruguay, the former Barcelona and Atlético Madrid striker will continue his career in the MLS.

The Uruguayan striker will join up with former Barcelona player Riqui Puig at the Galaxy. The Catalan midfielder left the Camp Nou outfit at the beginning of August and signed with LA Galaxy for three seasons until 2025.

Suárez is currently plying his trade at Nacional, the club where he made his professional debut before going on to European success with Groningen, Ajax, Liverpool, Barça and Atlético.

The 35-year-old will stay with Nacional until November, when the World Cup kicks off. The World Cup comes to an end on December 18, and the Uruguayan striker will then move to the US, according to the report.
