La Liga president Tebas reveals his Barcelona ‘hope’

La Liga president Javier Tebas has this weekend revealed his hope that Barcelona will imminently return to a stable financial footing.

This comes with as much likely to prove integral when it comes to maintaining some semblance of balance at the summit of the Spanish football ladder next season.

Real Madrid, fresh off waltzing to the La Liga title, have since added Kylian Mbappé to their ranks, with Brazilian sensation Endrick in line to follow, too.

Safe to say, then, that Barcelona will require at least some form of squad upgrading this summer, if they hope to keep pace with their arch rivals.

For as much to be possible, however, the Blaugrana will need to get their finances back in order, specifically by way of a return to the long-discussed 1:1 rule.

Speaking to the media, as cited by Diario AS, this weekend, the subject of precisely as much, in turn, was put to the aforementioned Javier Tebas once more.

And, in his response, the La Liga chief made clear both his ‘hope’ and ‘belief’ that Deco and the board at the Camp Nou, in the end, will get the job done:

“It will depend on some issues they have to do. They are telling us that they are doing well. They know what they have to propose. I hope, I wish and I believe that Barcelona enters into the one-to-one norm and this summer it will not be as difficult as in others.”
