Kylian Mbappé to take Real Madrid’s advice on Olympic games

Soon-to-be Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé is ready to take the advice of the powers that be in Spain’s capital, when it comes to his potential participation at this summer’s Olympic games.

That’s according to the reliable Matteo Moretto, who has on Monday provided the latest on the situation.

The subject of Mbappé’s plans for the summer, of course, has long proven something of a headline talking point at the Santiago Bernabéu.

This comes ahead of the 25-year-old’s imminent move to Real Madrid upon the season’s close.

Mbappé, for his part, is set to lead France’s charge at the upcoming European Championships, where he will take on the responsibility of the captain’s armband for Didier Deschamps’ side.

It therefore represented a source of understandable concern on the part of the brass in Madrid, when word was forthcoming in the media that the club’s incoming Galactico had also set his sights on participation at the Paris Olympics.

Having waited a full two years to at last make their Mbappé dream a reality, Florentino Pérez and co. are desperate to have the prolific wide-man fully fit and firing upon the new Spanish season kicking into gear.

And Mbappé himself, it would appear, is ready to heed such advice.

As per the aforementioned Matteo Moretto, speaking as part of Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing, despite previous suggestions, the Olympics, and Mbappé’s potential participation, will not have a direct impact on contract talks between he and the La Liga leaders.

This comes with the Paris Saint-Germain star unwilling to force the issue, a move which would have the potential to cause an early rift between he and his soon-to-be employers.
