According to journalist Daniel Riolo, Kylian Mbappé and his team were shocked by PSG’s decision to exclude him from the Asian tour. The player’s family expressed surprise and frustration at the Parisian club’s attempt to pressure him into renewing his contract this summer, and avoid leaving for free next year.
Despite the club’s tactics, Mbappé remains true to his word about seeing out his final year. He is willing to go to extreme lengths, even spending the entire year on the sidelines, to stick to his intentions.
“Kylian Mbappé is prepared to endure everything and stay at PSG, even if it means not playing at all. His entourage has made it clear that they are ready to accept any sacrifice to achieve his goals. It’s a genuine showdown,” Riolo revealed on RMC Sport.
It is also being reported that PSG would be willing to sell the superstar for less than €200m but more than €100m, as they are prepared to compromise, this is according to Mario Cortegana.
