Arnaut Danjuma was close to joining Everton in the winter transfer window last season, and then decided on Tottenham at the last minute.
Now, whilst Danjuma has been negotiating with AC Milan, Everton have come in at the last minute and offered the Dutchman the terms that he was looking for, in the form of a season-long loan. Danjuma instantly accepted and is now on track to play his football in England once again, report Relevo.
The forward will be hoping that his time at Everton is more successful than his stint at Tottenham earlier this year. He started one Premier League game and managed only eight substitute appearances during his time in London. The club were undergoing a tumultuous time when Danjuma joined the club, and he perhaps suffered an unfortunate fate as a result.
The Dutchman has never settled at any club for long in has career. At 26-years-old, he has played for six clubs and never made more than 60 appearances for any of them. He will be hoping for some consistency in this new chapter of his career, and a chance to prove that he has what it takes to make it in the Premier League.
