Klopp the clear favourite – Barcelona fans have their say on next manager

An insight into the feelings of Barcelona’s supporters when it comes to the manager set to be installed on the club’s bench in the summer has been provided on Friday.

It is of course common knowledge across world football that Barcelona are on the lookout for a new head coach, with a view to next season.

This comes after Xavi, late last month, announced his intention to step down from his post upon the conclusion of the campaign.

A whole host of tacticians, in turn, have since been tipped to replace the Spaniard.

Blaugrana sporting director Deco, for his part, is understood to have identified Porto headmaster Sérgio Conceição as his preferred candidate, whilst president Joan Laporta favours a move for former Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick.

Where, though, do the club’s fanbase stand on the topic?

As alluded to above, this afternoon, an insight into precisely that has been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, who this week held a survey, in which they asked the Catalan faithful to vote for their favoured manager for next season.

And departing Liverpool headmaster Jürgen Klopp emerged as the clear winner, garnering over 30% of the total votes cast.

Next up was Hansi Flick, followed by Spanish pair Luis Enrique, and Mikel Arteta:

– Jürgen Klopp: 30.23%

– Hansi Flick: 14.20%

– Luis Enrique: 13.97%

– Mikel Arteta: 12.51%

– De Zerbi: 9.42

– Xabi Alonso: 7.86%

– Michel: 4.19

– Unai Emery: 2.95%

– Imanol: 0.78%

– Sergio Conceiçao: 0.71%

– Others: 3.21%
