Speaking in an interview with Marca, La Liga president Javier Tebas revealed the start date for the 2020-21 La Liga campaign.
The 2019-20 season is due to restart on June 11 and run until July 19.
“We’ll restart, if God allows, on June 11. We’re hoping that Madrid and Barcelona move into phase two of the lockdown de-escalation plan. There are more than 130 people working at La Liga so that everything can be done in a new way. We’re prepared and the important thing will be the day we finish the league. We’ll hopefully start next season on September 12.“
