Granada have activated their option to buy French midfielder Maxime Gonalons from AS Roma.
Gonalons has signed a deal until 2023. Arriving last season on loan from Roma, where he spent two seasons, in a deal that included a purchase option of 4.5 million euros that became mandatory if Granada stayed in the top-flight. The news comes on the same day that the 31-year-old tested positive for Covid-19. He remains isolated at home in France.
