Barcelona have announced that one of their players has tested positive for coronavirus.
The La Liga side confirmed the news on Wednesday, stating that the player in question has ”no symptoms” and is in “good health”.
The unnamed squad member, who is also self-isolating at home, was one of nine to have started pre-season training on Wednesday. Barcelona’s club statement read: “The club has reported the matter to the relevant sporting and health authorities.”
Barça face Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Friday.
