Barcelona player Ez Abde opts to play for Spain over Morocco

Ez Abde has left the Morocco national team and will not go to the Africa Cup of Nations, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Barcelona forward has opted to play for Spain as he is eligible through dual nationality. In the last few days, Abde has been weighing up the pros and cons of playing for Morocco, including missing out on playing for Barça in January and has decided to take the step of walking away from the national team.

With this decision, Abde (20) will be available for the Spanish national teams, either for the U-21 team led by Luis de la Fuente or the senior team led by Luis Enrique.
