Erling Haaland has an exit clause in 2024 to go to Real Madrid

Erling Haaland’s contract has a clause in his contract that could see him join Real Madrid in 2024, report El Chiringuito.

The Norwegian international joined Manchester City this past summer and has already scored 14 goals in eight games in the Premier League.

However, according to former Real Madrid player Fernando Sanz, Haaland has a clause in his contract that means Real Madrid have priority in activating his buy-out clause in 2024:

“The information I have is that there is an exit clause in the second year of Haaland’s contract, and the curious thing is that it provides very beneficial conditions for one specific club – which is Real Madrid.”

It is believed that that the 22-year-old’s release clause is €200m in 2024 and €175m in 2025.

Real Madrid are looking to find the long-term replacement of Karim Benzema and Haaland could help provide the club plenty of goals for a decade at least and beyond.
