Details: Puma’s latest big-money jersey offer to Barcelona

The details of the latest jersey manufacturing proposal laid out by sporting giants Puma to La Liga outfit Barcelona have been revealed on Friday.

And the figures are no doubt set to pique widespread attentions across the Barcelona fanbase.

As much comes with Puma continuing to up the ante, in efforts to replace Nike as the official shirt manufacturer for the Spanish heavyweights.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, the German company have forwarded the terms of a 10-year proposal to the powers that be in Catalunya’s capital.

The decade-long partnership would be worth a fixed €100 million-per-year, with the potential to rise to €120 million in the case of agreed sales figures being met.

It would also feature a signing bonus of €100 million.

On the flip side, the aforementioned Nike – with whom Barcelona are already engaged in a legal battle in an attempt to break ties with the American brand – have increased their bid to €75 million-per-season.

Though, on the face of it, far from a shabby offer, it is nevertheless dwarfed by that of Puma, with it therefore of little surprise to hear of Joan Laporta and the Blaugrana brass continuing to do all they can to part ways with Nike in time for next season.
