Real Madrid trio back in group training ahead of Athletic Club

Three headline members of Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid squad marked their respective returns to group training on Friday morning.

The players in question? Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, and Eduardo Camavinga.

The midfield trio trained separately from their teammates at Valdebebas on Thursday, fresh off their respective returns from international duty.

As much came as a precaution, with Camavinga’s wellbeing having been of particular concern after the Frenchman limped out of his country’s friendly meeting with Chile earlier in the week.

Those of a Real Madrid persuasion, though, need not fret.

As per a report from Diario AS:

‘It was expected that this Friday the three would work without problems with the group in a session of greater intensity than yesterday and that is what happened.’

All of Bellingham, Valverde and Camavinga, as a result, are expected to be available to feature from the off in Los Blancos’ return to La Liga action on Sunday against Athletic Club.
