Celta Vigo and Roma agree Carles Pérez transfer

As broken by Relevo’s Óscar Méndez and Matteo Moretto, Celta Vigo and Roma have arrived at an agreement over the transfer of Carles Pérez.

It was communicated two days ago that Pérez was eager for the two sides to complete negotiations so that he could travel to Vigo and train with Os Celestes as soon as possible.

According to reports, the Galician club managed to secure a loan deal for the 24-year-old with an option to buy. The player is expected to travel to Spain today or tomorrow to undergo his medical and sign his contract.

Even though multiple teams have wanted to see the winger amongst their ranks, Roma are respecting Pérez’ wishes to go to Celta Vigo.

Over the last three years the Spaniard has accumulated 75 appearances for the Italian side in all competitions, in which he scored eight goals. He was part of the Roma team that won the Europa Conference League last season.
