Carlos Soler is set to join PSG from Valencia, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Spain international will join the French champions for €18m plus €3m in add-ons. Marca report that Valencia had been aware for over a week of the French side’s interest.
The player’s contract at Mestalla expires next season and after eight months without receiving a new contract renewal offer, he had a meeting with Valencia yesterday, with the club presenting him with a new 5-year offer, but it was too late for Soler.
Soler, who will sign a 5-year deal with PSG, is leaving the La Liga club with just two days to go until the end of the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old featured for Los Che in their 1-0 defeat at home to Atlético Madrid on Monday. He is expected to complete his medical on Wednesday before putting pen to paper on a deal until 2027.
