Sevilla and Ajax have reached an agreement over the transfer of Lucas Ocampos, as reported by Samuel Silva at Relevo.
It is believed that the Dutch outfit will pay €20m to secure the services of the Argentine winger. Ajax will now proceed to negotiate personal terms with the player.
The sale of Ocampos frees up the budget that Sevilla need to strengthen their attack and bring in a new winger and a new striker.
This afternoon it was communicated that they are in advanced talks with Adnan Januzaj.
Los Nervionenses have also been linked with several strikers this summer, including Umar Sadiq and Raúl de Tomás. However, nothing has materialised as of yet.
Lucas Ocampos joined Sevilla in 2019 and won the Europa League with the club in 2020. He has made over 100 appearances for Sevilla, but Julen Lopetegui is hoping to replace him with a winger who is more clinical upfront.
