Carlo Ancelotti speaks out on Arda Güler’s future after first-ever Real Madrid goal

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has tonight provided an insight into the future of Arda Güler with the club.

As much, of course, comes amid what has proven a special day for the Turkish international.

Afforded his latest cameo off the bench late in Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo, Güler went on to make his presence almost instantly felt.

Slipped into the Celta penalty area deep into injury-time, the midfield starlet made absolutely no mistake in rounding Vicente Guaita, before slotting home into an empty net.

This marked Güler’s first-ever goal in the colours of Los Blancos, putting the finishing touches on a dominant 4-0 triumph.

Speaking to the media post-match, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of the gifted starlet’s situation in Spain’s capital was put to boss Carlo Ancelotti once more.

Güler has of course endured something of a turbulent first season in La Liga, struggling for game-time amid an intense battle for places in Real’s ranks.

In turn, it has been suggested that the 19-year-old could be on the move in the summer, with some outlets in Spain having gone as far as to speculate that a permanent departure from Madrid is not out of the question.

If the latest comments on the part of their side’s headmaster are anything to go by, however, then the Blancos faithful need not fret.

This comes with Carlo Ancelotti having confirmed to the media moments ago that:

“Arda Güler has a future here.”

The Italian continued:

“Arda Güler has played very little. But he was convinced that he could do something. He made a move of great ability. He is a great talent, he has improved a lot and plays with more intensity. He has a future here, there is no doubt about it.”
