Real Madrid fans send Arda Güler-Rodrygo message to Carlo Ancelotti after win over Celta

Supporters of Real Madrid have taken to social media in numbers on Sunday, to send something of a demand to head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

This comes despite their side having secured a much-needed return to winning ways this evening.

Los Blancos of course marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Celta Vigo to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash.

Real headed into proceedings having managed just a solitary win from their last four across all competitions, the latest of which saw the capital giants lucky to avoid defeat at home to German outfit RB Leipzig in midweek.

In turn, it no doubt came as a source of relief when, upon the full-time whistle bringing a close to proceedings at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday, the evening’s hosts found themselves on the right side of an altogether one-sided scoreline.

After Vinícius Jr. kept his goalscoring streak alive with the opener during the first-half against Celta, a pair of own goals were added to by youngster Arda Güler’s first-ever strike in the colours of Los Blancos, to round out a fine evening’s work for Ancelotti and co.

And, post-match, it is the name of that man Güler which has unsurprisingly taken its place front and centre in the online chatter.

The midfield starlet required just five minutes off the bench to make his mark against Celta, courtesy of a supremely composed run and finish.

After Rodrygo struggled once more across his near-75 minutes on the pitch tonight, the Real Madrid faithful have, in turn sent a collective message to Carlo Ancelotti.

The message in question? Bench Rodrygo, and start Güler:
