Brighton & Hove Albion will sign Getafe player Marc Cucurella for €18 million, the cost of his release clause, according to Cadena COPE.
Cucurella joined Getafe two seasons ago from Barcelona after a loan spell at Eibar. Under José Bordalás he grew as a player and just this summer won a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Barcelona will take 10% of the deal, a total of €1.8 million. Two seasons ago, the Catalan club sold Cucurella for €6 million.
