A number of leading figures from the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Wednesday taken to social media, to send messages of support to teammate Eduardo Camavinga.
This comes, for those who may have missed it, after the France international was condemned to a spell on the sidelines.
Camavinga set alarm bells ringing in Spain’s capital on Tuesday night, after going to ground in evident distress during Los Blancos’ final training session ahead of tonight’s UEFA Super Cup showdown with Atalanta.
Ultimately forced to limp out of proceedings, the 21-year-old, in turn, underwent a round of medical scans on his left knee.
And, as per an official Real Madrid statement this afternoon, as much confirmed that ‘Cama’ has been ‘diagnosed with a sprained internal collateral ligament in his left knee’.
The youngster, as a result, is expected to spend the next couple of months on the sidelines.
Camavinga, for his part, has since taken to social media, to confirm his ‘deep disappointment’ with news of his injury’s extent.
And, as alluded to above, as much has since been followed by a wave of support, on the part of his teammates in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
Taking to the comments section of the Frenchman’s Instagram post, the likes of Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr. were all quick to back throw their backing behind Camavinga, as showcased below:
