The scouting department at La Liga giants Barcelona are keeping a close eye on the development of a pair of up-and-coming Brazilian talents.
This comes amid the understanding that the Blaugrana have identified both Jair Cunha and Arthur Dias as potential signings for the future.
Cunha and Dias are both defenders, who chiefly line out in a central role. The pair have seen their respective names emerge as prominent names in the Brazilian media over recent weeks, after being afforded call-ups to Carlo Ancelotti’s senior Seleção setup.
The former has already made the jump to Europe with Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest, whilst the latter is currently plying his club trade with Athletico Paranaense.
Both are considered potential Brazil regulars in the making, hailed for their abilities on both sides of the ball. And as alluded to above, word of such talents already appears to have made its way to Spain…
Specifically, as per a report from Fichajes, citing Diario Sport:
‘Barcelona have taken advantage of the international break to assess a couple of players who appear very promising for the future. These are the Brazilian defenders Jair Cunha and Arthur Dias.
