Spanish football’s two leading clubs have earmarked a member of the defensive ranks at Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion as a potential signing for the future.
This comes amid the understanding that Luka Vušković has made his way onto the transfer radar of both Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Stopper Vušković is for his part fresh off a big-money summer move from Tottenham to the aforementioned Brighton. And the Croatian has since responded with a string of fine performances.
From his berth at the heart of the Seagulls’ backline, the youngster, still just 19, has showcased precisely why he has long been tipped as a potential future star in the making.
Excelling on both sides of the ball, Vušković has featured from the off in all six of his new club’s Premier League fixtures.
And as alluded to above, his efforts along the way have already proven enough to turn the heads of those in a position of power at La Liga’s two headline clubs.
As per a report from Fichajes, amid respective searches for reinforcements at the heart of defence:
‘Real Madrid are among those interested. Barcelona have also re-entered the picture to sign him.’
Brighton, for their part, would be expected to demand nothing short of a monumental sum to part with their defensive gem as soon as next summer.
