La Liga giants Barcelona have on Tuesday added a fresh round of names to the list of club ‘legends’ on their official website.
And the Blaugrana faithful will no doubt be fascinated to hear of the latest inclusions.
First, and most notably, comes that of Neymar.
Wide-man Neymar enjoyed a wonderful four-year stint in Catalunya’s capital, from 2013 to 2017.
His departure for French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain – which came for a still standing world-record fee of €222 million – however, came in controversial circumstances, with many of a Barcelona persuasion having been left with a bitter taste in their mouths owing to the Brazilian’s behaviour.
Nevertheless, amongst those behind the scenes at Camp Nou, evidently, he is still held in high regard.
Joining Neymar in the latest round of ‘legend’ additions, meanwhile, are a further pair of iconic Blaugrana attackers, in the form of David Villa, and Pedro Rodríguez.
And rounding out the inductees are midfielder Ivan Rakitić, and defender Juliano Belletti.
