An impending friendly clash between Spanish football’s two biggest clubs has on Tuesday been confirmed to the masses.
The matchup in question will see Real Madrid and Barcelona lock horns in the USA, this coming August.
As part of their respective preparations for the new season, the La Liga heavyweights will make their way to the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, on August 3rd.
As much will come as part of ‘The Soccer Champions Tour’, primed to play out between the 27th of July, and August 6th.
Joining Real and Barca at the tournament will be a further trio of European giants, in the form of AC Milan, Manchester City, and Chelsea.
All of the former trio will play out three fixtures on the tour, whilst Man City will feature in two, and Chelsea one.
